Preparing for Postnatal - Online Workshop

icon 6 Attendees icon £45/session icon 2 Hours

This 2-hour live online workshop is designed to help you prepare for life after birth—because planning for the postnatal period is just as important as preparing for labour. It’s a supportive, down-to-earth session for you (and your partner, if you wish) to understand what those early weeks really look like and how to make them gentler, calmer and more supported.

Led by an experienced doula, we’ll explore what to expect physically and emotionally after birth, how to nurture recovery, and how to create realistic expectations for life with a newborn. You’ll learn about baby care basics, feeding options, sleep realities and how to recognise and respond to your own needs as a new parent.

We’ll also look at how to prepare your home and support network for recovery and healing—practical steps that help you rest, bond and thrive in the weeks that follow.

Held in a small, friendly group setting via Zoom, there’s plenty of space for questions, conversation, and shared experiences.

After the session, you’ll be offered a free follow-up call to talk through your postnatal plan or ask any additional questions, helping you feel confident and supported as you enter this new chapter.

By the end, you’ll feel informed, prepared, and reassured—with a clear sense of what you and your baby need to recover and flourish together.
